Sunny Days

So happy that summer is on it's way. Terry and I made another raised bed for gardening last weekend and a smaller one and he just filled them up yesterday with some really good dirt that he purchased. I got some unique plants this year, pineapple tomatoes, poblano peppers and Cherokee tomatoes to name a few, which I'll plant tomorrow.

My mom and my very good friend Tracy and I went strawberry picking last week and I have made two batches of strawberry jam and I have to admit for my first batch, it is pretty yummy! Give me a spoon and a jar of strawberry jam and I am a happy girl!

I have a new tag set to share. I used Melissa Frances paper, Kaiser paper flowers, leaf trim (I just got this and I love it!) pom pom trim, buttons and the bow is made from satin ribbon and shimmery netting.

This is an older card that I gave to my dad for Father's Day last year. The bubbles from the fish are beads. What guy doesn't love a card with fish on it!

And one last card I had from the old PC site. The wings were made with HOTP stamps and I added some glitter and rhinestones and covered with Crystal Laquer and cut them out when dry. The fence pieces was purchased at Michaels and I thought they would be cute for a garden themed card.

I'm off to the property tomorrow to plant my veges and get me some puppy love! Their eyes are open and I hear they are running all over now. And, the best part is that it is really looking good that we will get to keep one!! YAY!!! Terry wants to keep one of the tan ones, now I have to think of a really good name.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Annette

Love your tags and your cards - WOW! They are both incredible. You have so much detail in them! Can't wait to see new pics of the puppies. Hope you're not getting all the rain we are up here, although maybe that'll be good for your plants!

Beautiful creations Annette! What man wouldn't like receiving a card with fish on it:) I LOVE the tags, such soft colors!
So happy you're keeping a puppy, are you going to keep a boy or a girl? If you need help picking a name let me know! I bought a pet name book (like baby name book). We were running out ideas for the goats and chickens:)

Beautiful tags and awesome cards. It's amazing how pink and frilly can go to cardboard and fish. Love it!!! I thought you were already moved in? We've had severe flooding in our area. Thankfully my family made it thru. Our water system is down but other than that we are ok.

Hi Annette! Sounds like you have been busy, girl, with your planting and puppies and projects. I just planted some tomatoes with my daughter. Wish me luck at keeping them alive. lol.
so happy to get to keep one of the puppies!
And love all your projects, as usual. Your flower tags brought a big smile to my face, as did the wonderful fish card. Love them all!
