Two Birds

Another card for Melissa's challenge! I went to the dollar store today looking for some fun goodies to alter and I found this adorable photo frame and immediately ideas started running through my head! I can alter this into a 3D card! It came in two pieces, the house and the bird, and it's made out of a thin wood. After covering the bird and distressing the edges, I made a wing from some scrap thin cardboard and covered it with a glittered paper and added some Queen & Co felt swirls. A little chipboard heart covered in the same paper finishes it off. The pumpkins are a little wood cutout from Michaels that I covered with paper and then I cut the faces out and distressed the edges. I hid a little bird with the backing paper in one of the pumpkin's mouths! Other products used are Martha Stewart glitter stickers, Scenic Route chipboard, Bo Bunny rub-ons. The best part is that it cn be taken apart and put in an envelope and mailed, of course there would be extra postage though!

I also bought a train frame and a flower pot frame, two pieces also and made out of the same wood. I can't wait to alter them!
Thanks so much for looking and have a great week!
Annette
