I almost stepped on a King Snake today, it's living in a hole under our dog Marley's water bucket. King snakes are the good snakes to have as they will kill other snakes, especially poisonous ones so as long as we have them around, I feel a little better that I won't see anymore rattlesnakes this year. (keeping fingers crossed!)
I really love summer but I think I'm going to start counting down the months until Fall when the snakes and bugs will be gone!
I've been in a shabby mood lately, I'm working on a mirror right now that I'll share photos of when I'm done. Got a few cards to share...

And a few more....

And a couple more.....

There's a mixture of Melissa Frances, Sizzix, Maya Road, vintage doilies and trim, ribbon, paint, buttons, German Glass glitter, and more. I've been in the creative mood lately so I'm taking advantage of it because I could lose my mojo at any time! The front landscaping has been put on hold (our friend is helping us and he's been busy with other work related things but he's almost caught up and should be back soon- yay!) so I've been spending a lot of time in my craft room. I'm also working on a shabby photo album but only have 1 1/2 pages done, I think that project is going to take a few weeks!
That's about it for now, thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Beautiful shabby cards Annette! I especially love the 2 birthday cards, eek how cute! My mojo is on Summer vacation! I think of ideas and projects I want to work on, but end up outside instead! Hope your done with rattlesnakes for the year! We were at Matt's Mom's the other evening and Matt said "there's a snake looking in that window". I thought he'd lost his mind, but a big black snake was on the window ledge outside looking in the kicthen, lol! I thought of you!

Wow, you have been busy with all these cards. My favorite ones are the cake & the dress cards. So beautiful! Can't wait to see your mirror that you're working on. Stay cool!
Annette, EVERYTHING that you create is truly a work of art! Gorgous shabby creations...love the soft colors and all of the precious details you add! You are coping with the snakes better than I would be....where I grew up, we saw some sort of snake everyday...I still look before I step when walking outside...LOL. It's ingrained.
Wow Annette, you have certainly been in a very creative mood! So many beautiful creations, I love each and everyone! Gorgeous detail throughout and such pretty colours!
Darling Darling!!! I just love yor shabby! Your so wonderful at it :-) You should join the challenge at the Shabby Tea Room :-)
We, as for the snakes I can not ans will not live with them anymore!! I was at the coast and a tiny little snake crossed my path and I would'nt go any further lol!! Plus I broke my toe on my way home from vacation :-( At least it wasn't at the beginning of my trip :-)
Wow!! all of them are gorgeous. I love those tags too. Yes, keep going while the mojo is here... mine ran away last night and I don't know when he will come home ;)

Every one of these cards are so pretty. Love the shabby look.
It definitely it hot and humid, isn't it? I'm still trying to re-adjust after being in California for 3 weeks and not having to deal with it. :) And I've been thinking of you lately because I keep almost running over snakes. Been scaring the be-creepers out of me, and after I scream and swerve, I think of how I need to tell you about the little icky things. One in California was black and white striped.......actually kinda pretty. But the one out here was just a yucky black rat snake. Gives me the shivers.
You have totally brightened my morning with your beautiful cards. I love all the birds and the cupcakes, and I noticed lots of pretty banners, too. Your detailing is always so inspiring to me. I adore the different glitters you use. The German glass glitter is out of this world. Stunning vintage doilies and flowers, awesome stitching, adorable house. They are all so very beautiful!
I just love your shabby cards , each and every one of it ! And I love the way you use those gorgeous laces too !
All just stunning projects Annette! I love the way you use that German glass glitter!
