I added some beads around the top part but you can't see them because of the fluffy trim (I had little feathers everywhere!). I painted the bells white and added a little glitter. The chipboard heart is Heidi Swap and I used the negative part and covered with paper and sewed around it. I always wondered if it would be hard to sew on chipboard but it was pretty easy, I just went real slow. The "25" is sizzlets, snowflake is Maya road and chipboard star is Melissa Frances. I used Kaiser Pearls on the polka dots on the bottom of the stocking.

I had printed two of the angel images so I made a matching tag. I glittered the angels with german glass glitter, which gives them a vintage look I think. I added some trim and a beautiful little pink crochet flower that my friend Jennifer in Washington state made me. The rhinestone brad is Making Memories, as is the polka dot paper. Little Kaiser pearls fit perfect on her flower bouqet.

And of course I had to do a felt card! I used my new cricut cartridge "Christmas Noel" which is victorian and I absolutely love it! I cut the skate out at 5 1/2" and cut the pieces with felt and sewed them together. The snowflake trim on the side was white and I covered it with some Martha Stewart white gold glitter,(which was everywhere, including all over me!) same with the large snowflake. No matter how much I brushed off the card, I just couldn't get rid of all the glitter so I gave up so that is why there is glitter where it should be and where it shouldn't be. The little buttons on the skate are pearl beads, which I bought a long time ago, I love my old stuff!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my moms, and as always, I ate way too much! My friend Tracy and I had walked 5 miles that morning so I didn't feel to guilty having seconds! I hope everyone had a wonderful and Blessed Thanksgiving with your families.
You know what the best thing about Thanksgiving is - Leftovers! I cook a Turkey breast the day after Thanksgiving so we can have turkey all weekend. I think I'll make some homemade turkey soup too!

The ice skate is my favorite. My Grama was the City of Chicago Ice Skating Champion when she was 16 years old! (1922) I hope the "dusting" of nasty snow we got last night is on its way to you. :-)
Gosh, Annette, these projects are absolutely stunning! I adore the vintage look you've achieved on all of them. Pink has been speaking to me for the holidays this year, too. Love the soft approach you're taking and mixing it with white and cream. Your small details on your work always floors me. You pour so much love into everything.
